Data Deletion Policy

At Ada, we respect your right to control your personal data. This policy explains how you can request deletion of your data and what happens when you do.
1. Your Right to Erasure
Under the GDPR and other applicable data protection laws, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. This is also known as the "right to be forgotten". We will honor all valid deletion requests without undue delay.
2. What Data We Store
When you use Ada, we store your account information (email, name), workspace and team configurations, scheduled and published posts, uploaded media files, AI-generated content and chat history, and session data. All data is associated with your user account.
3. How to Request Deletion
You can request deletion of your data by contacting us through the Support section in the application, or by sending an email to support@adaai.io. Please include the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity before processing the request.
4. What Gets Deleted
Upon a valid deletion request, we will permanently delete your user account and login credentials, all workspaces you own (and associated posts, campaigns, and media), your AI chat history and generated content, session tokens and cookies, and any connected social media account tokens stored on our servers.
5. What We May Retain
We may retain certain data where required by law, such as billing records or fraud prevention data. Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you may also be retained for analytics purposes. Content already published to third-party platforms (e.g., Instagram) is not deleted from those platforms — you must remove it directly.
6. Processing Time
We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receiving a verified request. You will receive confirmation once your data has been permanently removed from our systems, including backups.
